Right opposite is Freyo Sunday Market. Wow..... what a fab place.
There is lots of food (yes food again) and crafts and arty stuff. So we wander round, John spots a lovely hanging mobile for the new baby that is yet to arrive and gives it to Kouy to pack (hahaha, stuff her luck).

Is that madam in the garden ??? what has she spotted ???
Sad news from Uk today as Uncle Ken has passed away. We send messages to his daughters, Helen and Sue and their families and also manage to speak to Nigel before he and family zooms off to Egypt..
Kouy wants to go Horseriding..so long story short. We eventually find a school who cam take us out riding today 'Giddyup' , its on the Thompson Road we are told, easy to get to,.... well an hour later we are still trying to find the flippin place and even the riding schools owner cant work out where we are... eventually we arrive and all is well. So heres the piccies and no laughing....I kid you not though... my derirre' was flippin sore, I had as much trouble getting on and off chairs for the next three days as I did getting on and off the flippin horse and I was only on it for two hours, but it was good fun xx
Oh very horsey ....
Ummmm. less said...
Ready, steady... Just to say, the big horse was what they put John on ....
Madam having a private lesson in the ring, this was after the two hour trek we had just done...she did very well.
Me taking, my new mate back to his stable, where they then got me to feed him...... I then went out with the stable girl to get the other horses in...(yes me...) just look at that horses face!!!!!! best not to say anymore....
Excellent day all round and lots of fun, but hard on the old deirrre'....
Its Tuesday morning and flipping pouring, so Kouy and I go off to the local mall for a pedicure. Very clear in my direction to the shop in that we did not want a rushed job, both of us got seated in two massage and soak chairs and then it started.... the chair was on. Now I had been in these chairs several times elsewhere , so I knew what to expect. But when the chair grabbed Kouys 'bottom' the look on her face was a picture..... Even the girl doing her feet was smiling and trying to hold on to Kouy's feet as Kouy tried to sit still and pretend nothing was happening to her hahahahaha.. Anyway Pedicures done, very nice job...it was on a special deal and cost about £35 ($48) each, which is good out here. So there we are, Kouy and I, sat waiting for our toe nails to dry and out comes this older vietnemese lady and asks Kouy if she is married???? 'no' says Kouy. 'Ok I paint very pretty flower on your toe'..Kouy looks at me and I say 'go on, it will look pretty'. So the lady sits down and paints Kouys two big toes with pretty flowers.' They look lovely' I tell Kouy. Lady then says to Kouy "lucky flowers, now you find husband...'.Kouy smiles and wriggles in her chair..which is about to start the whole bottom grabbing process again. The lady turns to me and says 'Flowers on your toes only $5!!!!?' well Kouy is beside herself with laughter, theres me thinking its a treat and just the lady being nice (silly me) and being done in with the price ... 'um no, dont worry' I say, as the pedicure is now heading back up to the full price with this ladies very clever antics... Anyway toes dried, we pay up and leave and head off for a coffee and cake...
Its raining in Banjup.. they must know Kouy is going home soon.xxx but its still pretty ...
and it rains and it rains....
wet, wet, wet...
As its Kouys last full day so we decide to go to the Cinema to see 'Brave', very funny it was too and then on for a meal. But as we had not booked we could not get in anywhere, so driving back home, Kouy spots a Hungry Jacks (Macdonalds) so in we go for burgers and stuff...We get home and in doors and its hugs and kisses for Kouy from Missy and Buddy.
Missy and Kouy having a cuddle...
On the floor with Missy...
On the floor with Buddy..
More cuddles with Missy..
The day has arrived and Kouy flies home tonite. Its been great having her here and spoiling and cuddling her...Anyway, we have a day of sorting out and packing. Bless her she has sooooo much stuff to take home for us, her case is more or less full and her clothes arent even packed yet. She still finds time to make some Marmalade and has bought three little jars, they are so cute, to take some marmalade back for her Nan and co..Anyway packing done, meals over and its time to leave for the airport. Missy and Buddy are so gonna miss her, they are all over her every evening as we watched TV.
Kouy has a few 'needy moments' before she leaves hahahaha, must be the sun...
Look at the camera Kouy.....
Smile please xxx
There how hard wuz that ???? lol .......( very hard apparently)
But hopefully she has had a good week and enjoyed her stay, so bags all packed and its off to the airport we go. We start booking her in and John places the case on the scales and is holding up the back end. "thats very light for its size ' says the lady.... John starts giggling. "Sir are you holding the back of the case off the scales?' "umm... could be" says John, luckily the lady has a sense of humour and laughs... 'Thought so' she said, 'You nearly had me there' . Kouy is advised her case is 4KG over and its $75 dollars (£50 ish) per Kilo, so something has to come out. The lady says she will allow Kouy 27KG, but anything over she will have to charge. So back we go to the weighing station at the back of the departure hall and we start to repack her case and change over her hand luggage. Anyway long story and lots of daggers from Kouy short (lol), we take out 4 books and 2 pairs of sandals, and whoopee, we've reduced her case weight by 4KG. Only problem is she now has 4 large reading books and 2 pairs of sandals in her hand luggage, and its very apparent that our Kouy aint too pleased......... So smiles (sort of all round) and back to the desk we go, fingers crossed and Yippee, the case is accepted..and we walk Kouy through to Departures. Hugs and a few tears and she is off and on her way back to the UK...holiday over. Gonna miss having the girl around, but life goes on and she has lots of stuff arranged for when she gets back to keep her nice and busy. xxxx Byyyyy Kouy....
