Paris the poodle is due back at the Vets this morning. Yea, another clean up, Bloody dog gets more attention then I do, don't know why?, sodding thing is starting to whiff a bit, sort of 'o'der Le poo'. Lin's had a go at dunking the bottom half in water and all that did was make it smell like wet dog and considering it was a wet dog, it ain't surprising.
Anyway, down at the vets, the dog gets the usual poking and prodding. All go's well till the vet trys to trim her ears, which due to the fact they've been stuck inside a funnel for god knows how long, are now just two matted clumps of fur. Oh the dog didn't like that, small as she is and even though her face is all taped up, the little git still tried to take a lump out of the vet. So the ear trim is put on the back burner and the vet just settles for having a rake round the inside the dogs ears with a cotton bud. Bugger, now the mutts got an ear infection, so on top of it all, we've now got to try and get ear drops into her. Next time I'm gonna read the small print on this house sitting lark...... We leave the vets with the final bill. Two visits for a clean up and a small bag of kibble comes to nearly three hundred bucks. Sod that, I'd sooner loose the dog and get a Goldfish.
We drop the dog off back at the house and set off once again. Lin wants to check out an Opp shop to see if she can pick up a decent suitcase for the few extra bits a bobs she wants to take home. I can understand that, we ain't gonna see the bike, trailer and anything in it for the next two months. After we get there, Lin go's one way, I go another. When we meet back up, it seems they didn't have the right suitcase, but judging from the bags, they did have other stuff that took her fancy. Moving on to the next Opp shop, same thing, she go's her way, I go mine, meet back up and what do yer know, no case, just more plastic bags. Sod this, at this rate, a suitcase just ain't gonna cut it, but I know were I can lay me hands on a cheep shipping container....
No piccies too busy buying bits and loving up dogs....
