We finally manage to get the aches out of the bones, do the coffee thing and finish off yesterdays eggs and rolls. After a shower, we cross the campsite, kick off our shoes and onto the beach strolling arm in arm into town. As we reach the end of the beach, we notice a small crowed gathering,. (three people) so we went to take a look. Turns out a shoal of stingrays had come in close ( the type that got Steve Earwin) Smallest was about three feet across, largest was about six feet. After seeing the way Lin keeped looking at the rays, then looking at me, I decided it was time to check out the town. (piccie below)
You can't call Inverloch a one horse town, its too upper class for that. All the shops are just 'so' and of course, Lin found the shop she loved, she can't buy as no room !!!!!!. So pies (very good pies) and supplies later we head back home to read and chill out. Its not long before someone stops to admire the bike and we get talking, next thing you know, we're being asked over for drinks a little later. We demolish the cooked chicken we got a little earlier and make our way over.
Pauline and Rod turn out to be a nice couple. with views similar to ourselves, so we got on well. As we're talking I notice something move just over the fence, Finally I've seen my first Kangeroo and he don't look nothing like Skippy, probably a mate. Evening over, we kick our way through the rabbits, (place is running alive with them) and back to the tent to blow up the airbed yet again.
Love and miss all of ya John and Lin xxxxxx
