mobile from our Billee-Jean, she's all upset, which sends me into 'mummy mode', 'go on Skype' I tell her, 'don't worry' we'll sort it out. Well... Billee-Jean has lost her purse on the train coming home, its got her bank cards and oyster card in it and a few pounds and its her favourite Radley purse. The bus driver (tit) had been horrible and would not give her the change from the £3 she found in her bag, so she then has no money on her.. She had called various people and no one had answered.... so there she is crying and all upset, she made her way home eventually and called us. Thank god for Skype. So theres 'her' in the UK with Skype on and me in OZ with Skype on, bloody brilliant..... I'm, shouting directions and telling what needs to be done etc etc hahahaha, 'we' call the bank and cancel the card, new one on way. Then 'we' call TFL Oyster and cancel the missing card and buy a new one. Well that was a laugh cuz I had to pay with my bank card, so Billee tells the lady we are on Skype and I am OZ, so there I am shouting to the lady from OZ (I know, I don't know why I talk loud on Skype and mobiles but I just do !!, I also lean forward to the screen too...... don't know why. Age I think.....) Anyway, long story short, my girl is now settled, happy again, which makes me and her Dad very happy. We stay on Skype and chat with Billee and all is well with the world again. Goodnites said and its off to bed for us and out to Holly's 18th at the Sugar Hut (Only way is Essex and all that!!!) in Brentwood for Billee-Jean. Auntie Dot calls Billee during our Skype to check she is ok as she does each week, so panic over and catch up over xxxxx
The day starts, as has now become the pattern. The alarm goes off at 6am and up we get. Its not a struggle because we know the walk will be fab. Down to the back of the house where the boys are sat the other side of the back door waiting in anticipation for us, but also very well behaved. So reigns on, treats in pockets, and 'dodo' bags!!! say no more !!! and we are off. The area is silent, you can only hear the sea starting to raise and fall down on the beach. The moon is still in the sky but setting with its glimmers lined across the water. This is the first country I have ever seen the moon go down ( I suppose it goes down to you guys hahahahahaha...) The sky is blue on one side and pink on the other and as we walk the sun starts to rise and the beach starts to glow and the air becomes warm as the waves increase and the beach seems to come alive. . The boys are having a great time as do we collecting beautiful shells as walk along.. We are walking the other end of the beach today and there are about half a dozen fisherman out. This intrigues Lennox who does like their bait and even more so the fish they have just caught on the end of their line.........no I am not laughing. Lennox is a staff and has a mouth as wide as his face.. which is wide! if he catches a hook... god help us and him. So with some words of encouragement we try to move on past the fishermen and down the beach.
Eventually the boys are off again racing down the beach and a few more people appear. There must be about 10 of us the beach now which is busy for here. We come to the end of our walk, turn round, walk back and we are ready to go back to the house. The boys are still chasing waves and are all caught up in the moment. Suddenly a large poodle called 'Chloe' appears and shows considerable interest in Costas deirre'. Well! Lennox is having none of that, so in he goes to put Chloe right. "She's never done that before' says her owner, 'Chloe' 'Chloe' he calls, she ignores him of course.. with that sort of teenage selective hearing thing kids have that all parents know about ... Eventually Costas runs on, Chloe gives up.. and Lennox follows Costas... so all is well with the world. Reigns back on and its back to the house for brekkies all round.
We pop up to the local shops in Miami and get a few forgotten bits and its back again to the house for tuna sarnies, crisps and coffee. I decide to clean windows ( have you seen the size of the windows here????? and John potters on the trailer....
Suzanne and Ian are due back from their camping holiday today at about 4ish. So there we are just had lunch and all cleared away with both of us pottering around when I hear 'Hello' 'Hello'. I recognise a female voice but can't work out where from or who it is. John jumps up ready to deal with the intruder.... 'John its Desma' (Suzannes mum) I tell him phew!!!!!, John was ready to go into attack the intruder mode.. Desma has got back early as she left before Suzanne and Ian and they have now got stuck in the bank holiday traffic, so won't be back till later. So intruder scare over and we relax and start to prepare the dinner for tonite which Suzanne, Ian and Desma are having with us..
Suzanne and Ian eventually arrive home, bang on time at 4 lol.. and not late at all. Suzanne had already trained John in 'Barrista' duties (Coffee making to you lot!!) before she left. And... And well.. John has taught me. So there I am steaming and cranking the coffee machine, making the coffee's and yes I have success. I am now a certified 'Barrista' I said Barrista!!!!! no comments please.
Dinner is served, chats had and stories told. John had cooked his famous creamed chicken and rice. wow... beauty!!! and I, well I had sort of made an apple crumble with custard. It seemed to go down well, everyone full and its off upstairs to the flight deck for us and off to pack for Suzanne , Ian and Desma. These guys are so calm its untrue. They are off sailing the polynesian islands on Wednesday for months, they are leaving tomorrow and calm, calm, calm they are. We have a smashing evening, these guys are unbelievable and such lovely hosts. Suzanne keeps telling me to treat the house as my own, just enjoy it. Ian is just the same. If the world was full of Ian, Suzanne's and Desma's.... well what a smashing world.
We go off to watch some TV on the upper deck, they go off to pack, and then we go off to bed with the promise of another full on day tomorrow as we are cooking brekkie for us all (by all I mean Suzanne, Ian and Desma, John and I).
So folks, its good nite from him... and good nite from me...
Here they come, enjoy...
No comments just enjoy...
Off to bed now, love you all xxxx and a very happy easter.
