Wednesday 11th April- Vicar of Dibley and The Foreshore , Old Mandurah town

Usual start to the day with a little added spice!! spice at my expense I might add.  Ok let me tell you how I had a 'Vicar of Dibley' moment at about 6.20am this morning.....

There we all are, well me John, Lennox and Kostyas on the beach. The moon is high and the sun is on its way. I am chatting away to John, the boys are racing down to the waves and WOOPS! I am gone? where you ask? well done a friggin hole up to my thighs!!!. I am laughing, John is laughing, the boys are swimming and surfing and are oblivious (thanks boys).  I drag myself out of the hole, no help offered I might add!. ''Where were you going?'' asks John. I struggle to reply civilly, but mange a ''F*ck knows'' (sorry but that was all I cud ansa at the time) . Where was I going????? OMG if I knew that, I would of missed the bloody thing. We are both still laughing, the subject changes and we continue our walk along the beach. It never fails to feel great, this early morning walk. Its a very different life for us now, but it just feels so good.... Half way down the beach John asks again about my 'fall' . Well If I knew, I giggle, I doubt I would have fallen!  Lets hope the hole is gone tomorrow.!! If not lets hope I spot it first.  Then... (in my wisdom) I decide to do my usual walk along the edge of the waves, well yesterday, I was lary and decide to walk very near the edge with my toes in and then WOOSH a flippin big wave got me all up the side of my legs, my shorts were wet, drawers wet, tee shirt wet, Yep I wuz wet!!!!. So today I am feelin clever
(well apart from the hole thing) so I tuck my one and only tee shirt dress in to my knickers and what does the wave do ??? it comes behind me and whooshes me all up the back, so am I wet??? Yes I friggin am!!!.    Still never mind sun will dry me.  He (John) just smiles and pulls that face that says well if you walked back here with me you would not get wet! I have no verbal response to that...... 2 fingers up, but no actual verbal response

Brekkie, showered and dressed and we are off on the bike to Mandurah Old town to an area called the Foreshore. Its lovely, its by a marina with lots of little shops ( love those little shops....) coffee bars, ice cream bars and souvenir shops. We wander round, have a coffee, and come across a little shop called 'Everything Fairy' so as you can guess it was all to do with fairies. It was a really lovely and quaint little place, very girlie. John and I was in there and there was a knock on the shop back door, we could see through the screen a young girl about 16/17 all dressed up as a fairy, she had wings on too and a fairy headdress waiting to be let in. But no one went to her. So I went to the till and said to the lady, 'theres a fairy knocking on your back door' She looked at me like I was mad. "Really?'' she said. 'Really' I replied. She went through to the back door watched by us and the other customers and she started to laugh. Itv was the sales assistant and the door had locked itself. 'Must of been a naughty elf' said the lady.....  all very surreal but quite entertaining ( thought you might like that little dittie...) we picked up a few cards and then back on the bike, as we are going out for lunch and the Mandurah Centro ( bit like Lakeside, but does a good roast dinner).

We shop and wander most of the afternoon and then make our way to a hardware store as John is building an extension to the pod... YES an extension ( Cant wait to fill it!!!! hehehehe). He finds everything he needs, we stand in the car park cutting up the chrome piping so we can get it on the bike and we are off back on the road to go home and see the boys.

We turn in the road and there is a small Joey( baby kangaroo) on the road side, as we near him, John slows down.  All of a sudden John shouts out 'BOO'.  I friggin jump, the Joey jumps and start bouncing all over the place wondering what the hell is going on.... I clump John who is in hysterics and we ride on to the house. 'GIT!!!!' I shout at him, 'you frightened me to death'. 'I know' he giggles.... I kid you not this bloke is on a warning.......my size 9 is getting ready to swing one right up his dierre!!!!!!

The boys are really pleased we are back and we get a lovely greeting. I decide to go on line and see if I can get Kouy... Nope. Billee..Nope... Steven.... Nope, I call the flat landline, no ansa!!!! Ok so, I call Dot and Pete, all is well there and we chat and giggle.  I call Billee and then realise its only 9.15am in the UK. She is at Ashley's and sleepy but good. I speak to Kelly on the quick and get some emails fired off. Then I arrange for a dittie to be sent to me mate Row.... Its on its way girl. You will be real surprised. Let me know when you get it/them ( its ok, its not a ROO!!!!!), it took some finding but I found them hahahahaha.... .
