10th Sept and its Hello Derby...

The drive to Derby was as before, the roads get hotter and harder and the dust redder. Its hard to keep clean and to keep the dust down. Everything has a red dust layer on it including John and !

We pull over into a layby for a quick rest and some water...




On the road again...

This is what sinks that have to suffer bore water end up like.  You use them because thats all there is.....


A boag tree,  you will these all over the place in WA, they have religious meaning for the indigenous people and are protected. Some believe that some of these trees are thousands of years old. They originate in Africa but have somehow established themselves here..

And yes the cockerel did flippin crow at 5am  in the morning..

He does this at 5pm every night cuz he is flirting with a little black and white sparrow thing...he needs to go specsavers ...lol



The sunsets here at Derby are famous but if you blink you miss them.. we caught this one last night..
