Its taking a bit time getting used to sleeping in a bed again, getting off is a right bugger and we both wake up with aches and pains in all sorts of places and no, getting me to sleep in another room wont mean Lin wakes up with one less pain.
Gonna make a start on cleaning up the bike today and check out that iffy noise coming from up front. Lin comes up with the idea of taking the car and popping into town on her own. Now don't get me wrong, I really love the misses, but she also wants to take the wallet and what am I gonna tell em if the car ain't here when they come back..... (its a really nice car). Oh well, I have faith in Lin, that and she managed to find the keys. As Lin disappears off the drive, (possibly the last time I see Lin, the car or me wallet) with a heavy heart, I run out the hose and make a start on the bike. An hour or so later, I've cleaned the bike, OK I'll clean the trailer. Another hour passes, still no Lin. By this time I've taken to carrying the house phone round in me pocket and keep checking it just to make sure I ain't missed a call,(that wallet was a Christmas present). Finally, I hear a car and Lin turns onto the drive, oh joy, welcome home, I kiss Lin, me wallet and the car, whats more, shes brought home 'long Johns', These are the Australian equivalent of the British jam donut, a long donut with jam and cream running down the centre. Cant think where they got the name fr...... Oh yea!.
This poor little fella fell out the nest, so John picked it up and put it out of harms way...
"i'll just have a quick 5 mins, while madam is out shopping!!!"
This is what I made from some odds and ends of materials I picked up in town...
His name is Erne, and I made it after watching a photographic tutorial on the net...ahhhhh
And side ways please !!! lol, yes the babies name at our next stay is Jade.... hence the Jade on the side...
Happy Ernie ....
