16th Oct, Ellis Beach, Fishing, swimming and drowning lol....

My head hit the pillow last night, and I was gone. Lin tells me there a bit too much road noise from the road behind us for her liking, but hey, cant have it all ways, at least the bedroom is in the right place.
We're that close to the sea, we cook a full English breakfast while watching the waves roll onto the shore, if it weren't for the forty four bucks a night, I could really get used to this.

Breakfast's and showers out of the way, I set up the rods for a bit of fishing, after a couple of hours, not a lots happening, so we decide, "if ya cant beat em, join em", So its on with the cozzies and in we go. Lin's not to keen on sea water, well that and the last sighting of a croc was only a couple of weeks ago, but what the hell?, in for a penny..... Now the surf's kicking up a bit and Lin really ain't to keen, she turns her back on a big wave and the next thing ya know, she's spinning on her back in the sand like a turtle and spitting water, seeing as its my fault, we decide to call it quits and grab lunch, got to say, my misses can do a mean cheese and cue sarnie and believe me, this one was mean.

The rest of the day was taken up, doing what boring old farts do when their running round Oz on a motorbike, bugger all, just chilling out. Hey, this is our trip. You want to do something exciting in the afternoon, get off yer ar*e and have a go....

Do you remember that advert 'bounty huntersssssss'

Ummm.. what shall I do next????

I know I'll do some rock art......  here you go...

and heres a tree being strangled...

and heres the mango's on the strangled tree, which is right over the tent... we do get the occasional 'bonk' sound as one lands on the tent roof...and there are loads of mangos all over the roads and pavements here...

Well he's had a good day, he's been fishing, caught a log, got a sun tan, squashed go knows how many flies, drowned his wife (nearly), played in the sea, rescued his wife from the sea..... and now he's having a cider, so perfect end for 'Sir' to a perfect day....

Thats all for today folks... love to all xxxxx
