Our Travel Adventures: 4th Oct, Sapphire, last day

Whats happened?, the kids and the birds seem to have taken the morning off and we wake up in our own good time. I think they'ar just giving the two old farts in the tent a break or trying to lull us into a false sense of security and really gonna get us later.

Well, we're off tomorrow. This is the longest stay on any campsite, since we've been in Australia and we're both getting itchy feet, so for most of the day we tidy round and start packing things up. Its been a really great stay here in what I can only describe as the cleanest, tidiest and one of the most pleasant place's we've stayed. Having said that, we want to be away early tomorrow to miss the mid day sun.

After packing, its off to Peg's gems for a lunch of chicken melts and toasted wedges, also throw in a good dose of piss taking at the expense of the old girl that works there. She's got a great sense of humour and her boss is back today, so I cant let that slide. It seems that because of the bike, everyone knows who we are and we get a lot of "so your the bikers, seen you riding round". Its been a big icebreaker that bike and I'm not sure we would have meet all the people we have, if we hadn't had it.
Lunch eaten and piss taken, we make our way back to the camp to finish packing and chill out.

A couple of hours later, we're all done, so I sit down to a good book and a hand full of crackers. Next thing, flap, flap, flap and I've got a sodding Lorakeet tap dancing on me head. I nod to shake the little sod off and he just runs up and down. I look at Lin and the way she's going, she's gonna need an incontinence pad. After I get rid of him, his mates turn up and the whole thing starts all over again. Lin grabs the Ipod and starts filming, don't know if its any good, Lin's still laughing too much, that is until one lands on the Ipod. That shut her up!!!!. we end up doing a box of crackers, but I look at it as payment for the lie in this morning and its always nice when wild animals come up close. (Lin included).

Nice end to a nice last day, so its off to bed early for that early start.
