Its a slow ride round till morning, but we get there in the end, lets just have breakfast, a quick shower and head off into town to get something to stop the itch. Its so easly said aint' it. Just our luck, we seem to get trapped in the kitchen by fellow Brits, who seem to think travelling round Oz on a motorbike is just the best thing ever and Ozzie's who want to weigh the pros's and con's of Goldwing V Harley. If the cleaner hadn't turned up, we'd still be there, thank God there was no one in the shower.
In town we spend a fortune on stronger anti histamines, (I just hope I don't grow breasts) and creams to dab on here and there, I'm telling ya, if I fell over, it would be ten yards till I stoped sliding. I'm so greased up I shine and I'm becoming a traffic hazard. To be honest, as long as it works, I don't give a t*ss.
Right, with relief in hand (Did that sound right?) we give the town a good once over and Lin makes sure there's not a shop she don't spend at least ten minutes in, raising hopes of shopkeepers from one end of town to the other (even baby shops). Good thing is, I got to replace the telescopic fishing rod I've had for the last twenty plus years, now just got to find a beach were I can use it (and it ain't gonna be here).
So it's back to camp to complete some running repairs on the trailer. (a bar snapped off the roof rack) Lin seems to have a need to get onto the pool with a million screaming kids and we've got to get ready to move on Thursday, cant do it tomorrow, co's we're going sailing.
Airlie beach....
Airlie beach....
Thats all for today folks cuz we are off the snorkel the barrier reef tomorrow... yippeeeee.
